Acrylic painting
This is my acrylic painting of a pepperoni pizza. I honestly think that I could have done better on this project but I did not utilize my time that well.
Water color landscape
This is my landscape of a mountain in Japan. I used watercolor for this project and I really enjoyed doing it. My favorite part of this piece was making the sky, I loved using the variety of colors I used.
water color fruit
This is a watercolor painting of a blueberry. I really love how this one turned out, I love all the different colors used in it. I used blues, greens, reds, and pinks to make this blueberry.
WAter color wheel
This is my water color wheel, it shows the primary colors and what they all mix to make. I always find mixing colors to be very difficult and finding the right hue.
water color samples
These are my water color samples. Each one uses a different method of water color painting, I especially liked this one because we used non art things to create art.
two point city
This is a drawing of a two point perspective city. This city took me a while to draw because everything had to be perfectly aligned with the vanishing points.
two point perspective
For this drawing in two point, I chose this image because it depicts letters spelling "Art" in two point perspective. I enjoyed doing two point perspective because it adds more angles to the drawing.
one point perspective
This is my one point perspective drawing of different prisms. I have worked with one point perspective before and I always like doing it because it is very precise work.
Figure drawing
I enjoyed doing figure drawings because I thought the way the were drawn looked very graceful and flawless. I had never really drawn a human figure that accurate to the proportions and the shape.
Contour
For the contour drawings I did not particularly enjoy it. Drawing someone without looking down at your paper is a pretty terrible thing and I didn't like the way it had turned out. The other contour drawing was of some paint cans and I also did not like that.
Charcoal still life
I loved doing this image because the more and more I drew I was watching it come together very nicely. Out of a lot of pieces I've done in charcoal and pencil, this is one of my favorites. It was very hard to get all the angles and show the depth with the bottle. I had to make the bottle look like it was squeezed.
CHarcoal sphere
I drew a sphere using charcoal for this project. It was my first time using a big block of charcoal to draw anything, I found it pretty difficult but I enjoyed working on it. Using my fingers to bleed certain parts together to give it shape.
composition
These are my photos of my water bottle that I used in our composition project. We had to take pictures of an object from different angles and fill different parts of the picture up.
